Every high school student, born after 1st July 1993 and not enrolled at an university, can take part at the 2013’s SwissChO competition.

The selection is taken in 3 rounds. The first round is a multiple-choice test, which will be solved at home. After the 2nd round in January and two preparation workshop-weekends in spring, the final round is hold in the week after Easter. The 4 winner of the Swiss Chemistry Olympiad will be the representatives at the 45th IChO 2013.

For the participants of Liechtenstein, the same rules are used. The Liechtenstein delegation for the 45th IChO is also selected in 3 rounds.
